Day 338 – R+D Kitchen

R+D Kitchen is part of the Hillstone Restaurant Group. They have other restaurants such as Hillstone, Bandera, Houston’s and about a dozen other names. I’ve been to a couple of them and they’ve been quite consistent. Good food, good drinks, nice decor/atmosphere and the bartender Zora was awesome. I think their drinks are overpriced, but it’s not really the type of place you’re going to get your buzz on. I think it’s a good place to bring a quality date to. Someone you see potential in, they will probably like this place. It’s not really my cup of tea since I like heavy pours and not overpriced so I’ve been here maybe 3 times in 10 years. So doubt I’ll be going back, but I’m not saying that you shouldn’t. It’s a decent spot.
