Day 363 – Tavern Restaurant

I have to say that I have come across one of my new favorite bars. Even though I like cocktail bars, usually I’m not into the fancy kind. This place is also known because when President Obama would visit Los Angeles, this is where he would have dinner at. I haven’t tried the food but it’s won a lot of awards. Now the cocktails are a work of art. I had this drink called “tavern on the green” and it was delicious. Even though one of my best friends is a bartender, I have to say that this guy is probably the best bartender I’ve come across. A true mixologist. Turns out he has a book coming out called “Bar Chef” that has all these recipes which I will definitely be trying out. If you are in the mood for an awesome mixology cocktail, then definitely go by and check it out.
