Day 252 – The Lincoln

The Lincoln is a cool looking bar in Marina Del Rey. What was cool about the day that I went is that they were doing a dog rescue thing so there were about 25 people bringing their dogs and it was basically a kennel that serves booze. Definitely fun and different, but that is not usually the case. Generally it tries to be a swanky mixology type of bar. I’m pretty over the mixology thing where you take forever to make a drink and then overcharge. I’m always skeptical of places that don’t have prices on the menu of their cocktails. Plus they only have a couple seats at the bar and for anyone who is 6 ft or taller or has long legs, you aren’t going to be able to fit. I’m glad I went simply because of the dogs which gave it a different experience, but there are other places in the area I’d go to instead.
