Day 265 – The West End

Well lets just say I wasn’t impressed. I went there on a Saturday and I was the only one there (which I actually prefer). The place was quaint with a Moroccan feel to it. I guess the Moroccan place next door owns the bar as well and wanted to combine the two. I went there during a non happy hour time which was $12 for one of their craft cocktails. I got the vodka punch and it was one of the worst drinks I’ve ever had. It was bartenders choice so he just threw a bunch of stuff together. I asked for another drink originally but he said he couldn’t make it. I don’t know if they were out of an ingredient or he just wasn’t a regular bartender. But what he made was seriously bad. It contained Skyy cherry vodka, Hangar One Rose, pineapple juice and some other random things. Of course I still finished it because my mother raised me not to be a quitter. The bartender was nice, and they had really good fries. Their happy hour does look good which is from 5-7pm Tue-Fri. If you are in the area and want something during happy hour I’d possibly consider checking that out, since there aren’t a ton of choices in the area, but definitely not my first choice.
