Day 255 – Public School

Public School is a chain of different bars based on their area code. For instance, Culver City will be Public School 310 while Sherman Oaks will be Public School 818. The one I went to was in Culver City. They have a large bar with a nice beer list. I’ve never had the food so I can’t judge on that, and while they do have a decent selection, I’m not a big fan. I know a lot of people are but I’ve also heard those who didn’t like it. For me, I just think the place is overpriced. Maybe if there were fewer places to choose from maybe I could understand and I’d like it more, but there are so many better places I prefer to go to. What I do like is that they have all these math equations all over the place. I’m big into numbers so that part I like. The staff was also very nice and cool, and while I’ll go there about twice a year on pub crawls, it’s not a place I would choose to go to.
