Day 231 – El Texate

El Texate is a Mexican restaurant/bar located in Santa Monica. Though I’ve lived by here most of my life, I’ve never actually been in. But today that changed. I’ve never been big on Mexican food, but that’s not going to stop me from checking out the bar. This bar is pretty amazing. It’s quite massive with an impressive selection. They have 216 kinds of tequila. Yes, you read that correctly, 216 kinds. They also have every other type of booze you can imagine and 4 beers on tap. The bartender was awesome, drinks were awesome, now just need to figure out if the food is awesome. But the reviews have been pretty stellar. I’ll definitely be back.
