Day 74 – Brick+Mortar

To me this place always had a cold vibe. It’s just plain concrete and doesn’t feel warm and comforting like most bars. What I also find odd is that you must have the INTENT to eat there. Not sure if it’s part of their license or the reasoning behind it, but you can’t just come in and say you’re only having drinks. To cover their ass you must take a menu and intend on eating. If you only end up ordering drinks that’s fine but you must act like you have the intention to eat there. Yeah, odd as fuck. The one good thing is that they have a long happy hour from 12-7 M-F which is pretty damn good. Still, so many better happy hour treats within walking distance. At least starting at 4. So if you want a happy hour on Main Street in Santa Monica between 12-4 M-F then stop on it. Just have the intention on eating.
