Day 82 – North Italia

North Italia is an Italian Restaurant and Bar chain throughout the country. The one I went to was in Santa Monica near the Promenade. Normally I’m not into places like this but the atmosphere was pretty cool I must say. Nice open space in the bar area, and they had a good deal on Peroni. Their happy hour is nothing special though – $5 glass of wine, Sangria, or $4 beers. No hard booze, and happy hour is only from 3-6 PM. I heard the food is pretty good but never had it myself. If you are interested in checking the place out, I suggest earlier in the day, sit at the bar without the masses and just enjoy the quietness because you can kiss that away as soon as it gets happy hour time for the rest of the night.
