Day 351 – Casa Martin

So if you’ve been following my site, you’ll see that I have gone to quite a few Mexican bar/restaurants this year. There have been many that were the typical mainstream Americanized Mexican restaurants, while a few of them have been authentic. This one is the latter. So while I didn’t have the food, if you are into true authentic Mexican food then I have a feeling you’d like this place. It’s been around for a while and it’s a place people seem to want to go to when they want something authentic. But since I’m not a fan of Mexican food (yes, I am that one person), so it’s not a place I’d go to. If you just looking to drink, then this is not the place to go. They only have 3 seats at the bar, crammed in the corner. It’s pretty much only used for those wanting to eat but they are short on space. The drink I had was pretty good. It was a jalapeno margarita, but definitely spicy. I like spice, but it makes the outside of your lips burn for long after you leave, so be careful.
