Day 350 – Irish Times Pub

I’m a little biased about this place because I’ve been coming here for years. Not too often these days but I have several friends who come here so it’s a place for us to gather. But I’ll try to write an honest review based on someone coming here for the first time. This place is like most Irish pubs except I will say their food is really good. I can’t remember an Irish bar with good food before. Their burger is awesome. As far as the bar itself, there are about 20 stools where you can plant yourself, a pool table and some booths. They pour decent, the prices are decent, the service is pretty good depending on the bartender and how busy they are. For those reasons I like the place. What I don’t like is the bands, karaoke and other things that can make the place loud and busy. They open at 11am, so for the next 10 hours it’s great, but once 9pm comes on, something loud will be playing. They have Midnight Metal Madness on Monday, trivia on Tue & Thur, karaoke on Wed, live music on Fri & Sat and then football on Sunday. So Sunday is the only day where it’s loud early and the quiet later. But I would say it’s definitely worth checking out, and who knows, maybe you’ll run into me.
