Day 239 – M Street Kitchen

So I had always heard about this place and it’s surprising that I had never been here until today, considering I’ve lived in the area all my life. This place has one of the best happy hours around. It’s mostly known as a restaurant, but it has about a dozen seats at the bar. Not only did it have a great happy hour when it comes to food and booze, but it had probably one of the best bartenders I’ve ever come across. He was definitely made for this position. Friendly, is knowledgeable about bars/drinks, and tries to figure out what you might like and takes a true interest. I may actually even go back again later this week to check out the food, and of course drink again. I highly recommend this place.
